Plymouth

This is a 1928 Plymouth gas-mechanical locomotive. It was built for quarry work, with a low cab.
This gasoline engine runs on regular gas. It has four cylinders and 9 Liters of displacement. It is mated to a four speed manual transmission with a separate reverser box so it has four gears forward and back.

This is a close up view of the inscription on the exhaust manifold.
I took several pictures of the multi level coupler as I intend to build a similar piece for my large scale battery locomotive. Notice my sound recorder on top of the coupler: I placed it there so I can scale the part.

The oparator controls. If my memory serves me well, the levers are, from left to right, the reverser, the clutch (not sure), the throttle, the gear selector, the sander and the brake.
