Stomper 4x4 toys were battery operated vehicles that had one or two forward speeds. Originally introduced in 1980, some later models had a freewheel "neutral" setting. The vast majority of Stompers were 4x4 trucks with detailed plastic bodies modeled after popular vehicle makes such as Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, and they even had Subaru, Volkswagon, and Datsun Vehicles. The much more rare crawler-based vehicles included military tanks, construction machines, and a line of amphibious and futuristic vehicles. The albums contained herein will describe all the Stomper crawler vehicles in detail.
